Espresso Bourbon Barrel Aged Coffee is a study in balance. The roaster behind Oak & Bond partnered with Kentucky bourbon barrels to age a Brazil and Colombia single-origin coffee, then roasted to a deep profile to fuse chocolatey sweetness with whiskey warmth.\n\nOrigin and processing context. The beans come from two origins, Colombia and Brazil, grown at about 1000 to 2100 meters above sea level. Barrel aging in Kentucky bourbon barrels is a central processing step that amplifies sweetness and adds subtle spice.\n\nIn the cup it tastes like dark chocolate, toffee, and black cherry with a warming bourbon finish. The sweetness from the fruit and the acidity from the origin are balanced by the barrel's mellowing influence, making it a versatile partner for espresso-based drinks or drip methods. For a simple pairing, try with dark chocolate or a butter pastry.
