Bedford is Partners Coffee's flagship espresso, crafted to celebrate two of the roaster's oldest sourcing relationships. The roaster partnered with Yonatan and Julian Gonzales and Tesfaye Bekele to weave together coffees from Guji, Ethiopia and Huila, Colombia into a complex, fruit-forward profile. Washed processing at elevations of 1500 to 2200 meters above sea level helps the cup stay bright and clean with a syrupy body. It tastes like marmalade, pomegranate, and brown sugar, and it shines whether served as a straight espresso or in a cortado. Origin and terroir shape Bedford as well. Guji's highland character and Huila's vibrant stone fruits meet in a cup that remains balanced when milk is added. The washing process influences clarity and brightness, letting the stone fruit notes stay lively while a gentle sweetness ties the cup together.
