This coffee comes to us from the Sozoranga region of southern Ecuador. It was grown by producer Wilson Alba on his farm, Arcoíris. The Sidra variety is a relatively new variety of coffee that is a hybrid of Red Bourbon and Typica. This lot was picked at peak ripeness and processed as a traditional washed coffee. We find this coffee to be extremely floral and sweet with a pleasant citric acidity.
