The roaster Tandem Coffee Roasters partnered with Ibonia Estate AB to bring this Kenya coffee to life. Grown in Kiambu just north of Nairobi at an elevation of 1725 meters above sea level, this estate lot features SL-28 and SL-34 varietals that shape a refined, fruit-forward cup.
The roaster describes the taste as black cherry, anise, and hibiscus, with a rounded darker fruit profile and notes of cherry and blackberry, a pronounced depth of flavor, and a deep anise-like sweetness.
