Tandem has partnered with Nyamurinda Coffee Growers Ltd., led by sisters Mukamana Immaculée and Nyiramana Francine, who rebuilt on their family land after 1994 and now run two washing stations serving local smallholders. This lot is a classic Rwandan washed coffee—careful sorting, controlled fermentation, and slow raised-bed drying for clarity and a tea-like frame.
In the cup, it tastes like black tea with a soft citrus lift; as it cools, it might remind you of ripe stone fruit and a gentle baking-spice warmth. Expect medium body, tidy acidity, and a clean, cane-sweet finish.
