Brandywine Coffee Roasters teamed with Unblended Coffee to present the Inza Young Producer Lot in Cauca, Colombia. This Inza lot from La Cumbre sits around 1800 masl and brings together the Caturra and Castillo varieties. The roaster cupped the Inza lots with Catura Floral from Andres Martinez to create a more consistent profile that still highlights the region's florals and sweetness.
The Young Producer program was created to open market opportunities for emerging growers, and this lot embodies that goal by maintaining quality while showcasing Cauca's signature florality. The collaboration between Alejandro Ariza and Andres Martinez on this Inzá lot helps build consistency and allows the region to scale while preserving its distinct character.\n\nIn the cup, it tastes like raspberry tea, with floral notes and a cereal milk sweetness. It balances a clean, bright acidity with a gentle sweetness, finishing crisp and inviting another sip.
