The roaster partnered with Marlon Bolaños to bring Marlon Bolaños Pink Bourbon Washed from Acevedo in Huila, Colombia to HEX shelves. This lot comes from Three Coffee Farmers, a family project where Marlon leads fermentation, cupping, and strategy while his brothers manage farm operations. The farm draws from a natural spring whose mineral composition has proven to enhance body and sweetness in the cup, a detail Marlon has used to guide his approach in competitions and beyond.

Cherries are harvested and density sorted, then de-pulped and fermented in closed tanks for 24 hours to develop fruitiness while preserving clarity. After fermentation the parchment is washed and dried on raised beds for 7 to 8 days to around 11 percent moisture. This straightforward process emphasizes varietal expression over intervention, letting Pink Bourbon come through with balance between sweetness and brightness.
