La Cabra partnered with Stefan Müller to present Don Benjie. Grown on the slopes above Boquete in Panama, this lot sits at about 1600 masl and is processed natural. The varietal SL28 and the Don Benjie Estate approach deliver fruit forward intensity with a soft, inviting body. Natural processing here emphasizes sweetness and provides a clean, lingering finish that reflects Boquete's cool nights and patient drying. In cup, it tastes like wild blueberry and fresh raspberry, with molasses sweetness and a hint of dark chocolate. The roaster describes the flavor as fruit forward, balanced by bright acidity and a smooth finish. The natural process concentrates fruit character while preserving clarity, and the high altitude and SL28 heritage contribute structure that shines in both filter and espresso expressions.
