La Cabra partnered with Muraho Trading Co. to bring Shyira Geisha from the Shyira Washing Station in Nyabihu, Rwanda. This extremely limited washed Geisha lot thrives at high altitude, where volcanic soils and slow cherry maturation shape a bright, delicate cup. Muraho’s team oversees every step from pruning to processing, ensuring a terroir driven expression that highlights the Geisha profile. Processing is central to the cup here. The washed method delivers clarity and a crisp frame that lets the fruit and florals shine. The roaster describes the taste as jasmine, lemon, and floral honey, with a crisp acidity that lifts the finish rather than weighing it down. For home brewers, this coffee rewards a light to moderate roast and a clean brewing approach that respects its brightness. It pairs beautifully with citrus pastries and light, honeyed breakfasts, inviting you to explore the balance of sweetness and acidity that defines this Rwanda origin.
