Pearl of Tehama is a nanolot sourced from Haraz on Sana'a highlands in Yemen. The roaster partnered with two hundred smallholders organized around Pearl of Tehama to bring this coffee to life. This lot was hand selected and processed in small installments, undergoing anaerobic fermentation for 48 to 72 hours before being dried on raised beds and air shipped directly to the United States. The approach highlights a centuries old Yemeni coffee tradition while preserving the specific terroir of Haraz. It tastes like grape, marzipan, and watermelon with complex botanicals lending a light herbal lift. It might remind you of citrus brightness and a clean sweetness, with balanced acidity and a smooth, lingering finish. This cup invites mindful brewing and reveals how the processing style shapes the cup and regional character.
